The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality invites you to attend an upcoming series of Community Conversations to discuss Gulf restoration priorities and opportunities for Mississippi. Through the Gulf Environmental Benefit Fund, the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) will receive $356 million  for obligation to projects that benefit the natural resources of Mississippi’s Gulf waters and coast. These conversations provide a forum for exchange between you and local, state and federal leaders to discuss shared values, priorities and opportunities for future restoration. They will also provide an opportunity to learn about the decision-making process. We will use a workshop setting to discuss community values for restoration among neighbors and local leaders. Come ready to learn, ask questions, discuss community priorities and leave knowing that your voice matters!
