Making Mississippi Whole

Since the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill, the State of Mississippi has been working to Make Mississippi Whole. The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) is leading restoration efforts in the state and has committed to keeping the public informed as work progresses. In the six years since the oil spill, Mississippi has obligated more than $300 million in restoration projects on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
